OUR MINISTRIES
James 2:20 tells us that faith without works is dead; Matthew 12:33 states that a tree is known by its fruit. At Redemption, we believe in showing our faith by our works.
Prayer
We meet twice a week to pray for our community, our members and our brothers and sisters in Christ. We also pray over specific prayer request. Our prayer ministry is led by Minster Elizabeth Schexnayder
Hospital
Our hospital ministry is led by Minister Johnny McGowan who is assisted by Minister's Lesha Dantzler and Earnestine Mosley. We make weekly visits to Lallie Kemp and North Oaks hospitals and offer prayer to individuals as requested. We also visit sick and shut -in members in their homes.
Sunday school
Sunday school is an integral part of the Christian life experience. Our Sunday school program is led by Minster Earnestine Mosley and features monthly lessons by each of our Ministers.
In Season Ministry is our radio and television broadcast ministry. It is led by Copastor Bellazer and was founded to spread the core message of hope, prayer and faith.
Radio Ministry
The radio ministry was started to give individuals a safe place to request prayer and hear uplifting words. The program airs on Sunday mornings at 6AM on WFPR 1400 AM
The television ministry provides a platform for mature discussion of the scriptures. Our theme is A Word in Season taken from Isaiah 50:4. Join us Sunday mornings on WSTY channel 22.
Music
Our music ministry is led by Minister Crystal Rock and Minister Lesha Dantzler.
FLOC - For Love of Children
For Love of Children is our youth ministry that focuses on helping children navigate the terrain of education using solid academic techniques built on a scriptural foundation. It is led by Ministers Aaron and Latonya McGee.
