OUR HISTORY
Curtis Bellazer Sr. had accepted Christ in his life and was serving as a minister at First Corinthians Baptist Church in Chicago Il, when he heard the Call from God to return home and redeem his community. He brought his family back to Hammond, LA and in the summer of 1987 Redemption Christian Center in a small church on Whitaker Lane. From those small beginnings, the church has grown tremendously each year and continues to see the fruits of its labor in the Old Baton Rouge hwy community and beyond.
